Privacy Policy – TOPIK Prep
Operator: OByeolLab · Effective: October 12, 2026
1. No account, progress stays in your browser
You can use TOPIK Prep without signing up. Your answers, mistakes to review, mock-test history, settings (language, speed) and free-plan usage counts are stored only in your browser’s local storage. We do not receive them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
2. Listening (text-to-speech)
Listening questions are read aloud by your device’s or browser’s built-in Korean voice. Depending on the browser, the text of the script may be processed by the browser maker’s speech service (for example Google or Microsoft). We do not record your voice; TOPIK Prep has no microphone features.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
The home and result screens may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads at Google My Ad Center. Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first. Ads are never shown during a test.
4. Server logs
Like any website, our server and Cloudflare (our network provider) process technical data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this to identify you.
5. Paid pass (future)
If a paid pass is introduced, payment will be handled by a payment provider on its own checkout page (we never see your card number), and this policy will be updated before that change.
