1. 확장 프로그램이 하는 일

지원하는 동영상 사이트의 영상 위에 한국어·영어 자막(선택 시 발음 표기 포함)을 보여 주고, 단어를 눌러 뜻을 찾아 개인 단어장에 저장할 수 있게 합니다.

2. 수집하는 정보

없습니다. 개발자는 확장 프로그램에서 어떤 정보도 받지 않습니다. 추적, 분석, 광고 코드, 원격 코드가 없습니다.

3. 이용자 기기에 저장되는 정보

동작을 위해 Chrome 내장 저장소(chrome.storage)에 다음을 저장합니다.

사전 링크: 단어 풀이의 사전 링크(네이버 사전 또는 위키낱말사전)를 이용자가 누른 경우에만 해당 사전 사이트가 새 탭으로 열리며 주소에 단어가 들어갑니다. 그 사이트의 방침이 적용됩니다.

4a. Pro 라이선스 확인 (라이선스 키를 활성화한 경우에만)

Pro를 구매하고 팝업에 라이선스 키를 입력하면, 확장 프로그램이 결제 대행사 Lemon Squeezy(api.lemonsqueezy.com)에 접속해 키를 활성화하고 확인합니다. Chrome이 먼저 권한을 묻습니다. 키를 활성화하지 않으면 아무것도 보내지 않습니다.

결제는 확장 프로그램이 아니라 Lemon Squeezy 결제창에서 이뤄집니다. Lemon Squeezy는 판매 대리인(merchant of record)으로서 결제·청구 정보를 자체 방침(lemonsqueezy.com/privacy)에 따라 처리합니다. 개발자는 Lemon Squeezy 관리 화면에서 주문(결제 때 입력한 이메일 포함)을 볼 수 있으며 라이선스 제공과 지원에만 씁니다.

5. 권한

6. 정보의 판매·제공

이용자 정보를 제3자에게 판매, 이전, 공유하지 않습니다. 수집하는 정보가 없으므로 광고, 신용 판단, 확장 프로그램의 단일 목적과 무관한 용도에 쓰이지도 않습니다. Chrome API로 받은 정보의 사용은 제한적 사용(Limited Use) 요건을 포함한 Chrome 웹 스토어 사용자 데이터 정책을 따릅니다.

7. 내보낸 파일

내보낸 CSV와 Anki 파일은 이용자의 브라우저에서 만들어 컴퓨터에 저장됩니다. 이후의 사용은 이용자가 직접 관리합니다.

8. 아동

확장 프로그램은 아동을 포함해 누구의 정보도 알고 수집하지 않습니다.

9. 방침 변경

1. What the extension does

K-Drama Dual Subs displays Korean and English subtitles (with optional romanization) over videos on supported video sites, and lets you click a word to look it up and save it to a personal vocabulary list.

2. Data we collect

None. The developer does not receive any information from the extension. There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising code and no remote code.

3. Data stored on your device

To work, the extension stores the following using Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage):

You can delete this data at any time with the Clear button in the extension popup, or by removing the extension.

4. Network requests and pages read

Subtitles: on a supported video site (youtube.com, netflix.com), the extension asks that same site for the subtitle files of the video you are watching, as the site's own player does. No data is sent anywhere else (except the license check in section 4a, if you use Pro). Korean pronunciation is generated on your device and not sent to any outside service.
Dictionary links: only if you click a dictionary link in the word popup, a new tab opens on that dictionary site (Naver Dictionary or Wiktionary) with the word in the address. That site's own privacy policy applies.

4a. Pro license check (only if you activate a license key)

If you buy Pro and enter a license key in the extension popup, the extension contacts our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy (api.lemonsqueezy.com), to activate and verify that key. Chrome asks for your permission first. Nothing is sent if you never activate a key.

No browsing history, video information, subtitles, vocabulary, name or email address is sent by the extension. Like any web request, Lemon Squeezy receives your IP address. The key, the instance ID, its status and the time of the last check are stored in chrome.storage.sync so Pro works in your other Chrome browsers; customer details returned by Lemon Squeezy are not stored. Remove key in the popup releases the activation and deletes this data.

Payment itself happens on Lemon Squeezy's checkout page, not in the extension. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for the purchase and processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy (lemonsqueezy.com/privacy). The developer can see the order (including the email address you gave at checkout) in the Lemon Squeezy dashboard, and uses it only to provide the license and support.

6. Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell, transfer or share user data with any third party. Because no data is collected, none is used for advertising, credit decisions or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose. The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Exported files

CSV and Anki files you export are created in your browser and saved to your computer. What you do with them afterwards is under your control.

8. Children

The extension does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

9. Changes to this policy

If the extension's data practices change (for example, if optional paid features are added), this page will be updated before the change is released, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
