요약 — 오별랩의 학습 서비스(KIIP Prep, TOPIK Prep, EPS-TOPIK Prep)와 오별랩 도구는 가입 없이 쓰며, 풀이 기록과 입력값은 기본적으로 이용자의 브라우저에만 남습니다. 계정이 필요한 기능(KIIP Prep의 선택적 Google 로그인, 오늘의 별)은 그 기능에 필요한 정보만 처리합니다. 일부 화면에는 Google AdSense 광고가 나오며 Google은 쿠키를 쓸 수 있습니다. 문제 풀이 화면에는 광고가 없습니다. 개인정보를 팔지 않습니다.

OByeolLab(이하 “오별랩”)은 「개인정보 보호법」 등 관련 법령에 따라 이용자의 개인정보를 보호하고 관련 고충을 신속하게 처리하기 위해 이 방침을 둡니다. 서비스별로 따로 게시해 온 방침 페이지도 계속 볼 수 있으며, 이 페이지는 그 내용을 한곳에 모은 것입니다.

2. 모든 서비스 공통

2.1 접속 기록

모든 웹 서비스는 Cloudflare(전송·보안 서비스)를 거쳐 오별랩이 대한민국에서 운영하는 서버로 연결됩니다. 서버와 Cloudflare는 서비스 제공과 보안·장애 대응을 위해 IP 주소, 접속 시각, 요청한 주소, 브라우저 정보 같은 통상적인 접속 기록을 짧게 처리할 수 있습니다. 이 기록으로 이용자를 식별하거나 성향을 분석하지 않으며 다른 곳에 제공하지 않습니다.

2.2 브라우저에 저장되는 정보

풀이 기록, 틀린 문제, 설정(언어·테마 등), 무료 이용 횟수처럼 서비스가 동작하는 데 필요한 정보는 이용자 브라우저의 저장소(localStorage)에 저장되며, 별도로 적지 않는 한 오별랩 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 브라우저에서 해당 사이트 데이터를 지우면 함께 삭제됩니다.

2.3 광고 (Google AdSense)

무료 운영을 위해 오별랩 소개 페이지, KIIP Prep·TOPIK Prep의 일부 화면, 오늘의 별 웹에는 Google AdSense 광고가 표시될 수 있습니다. 문제를 푸는 화면과 시험 중에는 광고를 넣지 않습니다. Google과 광고 파트너는 쿠키와 유사 기술을 사용해 광고를 제공·측정하고 부정행위를 막으며, 이용자가 허용한 경우 이 사이트와 다른 사이트 방문 기록(방문한 페이지, 광고 상호작용, IP 주소, 브라우저 정보 등)에 따른 맞춤 광고를 보여 줄 수 있습니다. 오별랩은 계정 정보나 학습 결과를 Google에 제공하지 않습니다.

Google이 정보를 사용하는 방식: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
맞춤 광고 끄기: Google 내 광고 센터, 여러 광고 네트워크는 aboutads.info. 브라우저 설정에서 쿠키를 차단·삭제해도 서비스는 계속 쓸 수 있으며, 맞춤화되지 않은 광고는 표시될 수 있습니다.
유럽경제지역(EEA)·영국·스위스 방문자에게는 맞춤 광고 전에 Google의 동의 메시지로 동의를 받으며, 같은 메시지에서 언제든 선택을 바꿀 수 있습니다.

2.4 브라우저 음성 기능

TOPIK Prep과 KIIP Prep의 듣기 문항은 유료 라이선스 음성 합성 서비스(Typecast)로 미리 만들어 둔 음성 파일이 있는 경우 그 파일을 재생하며, 파일은 오별랩 서버에 저장되어 있어 재생할 때 이용자에 관한 정보가 Typecast로 전송되지 않습니다. 녹음 파일이 없는 문항과 EPS-TOPIK Prep(현재 기기 음성 합성만 사용)은 기기·브라우저에 내장된 음성 합성을 쓰며, 브라우저나 운영체제에 따라 그 회사의 음성 서비스(예: Google, Microsoft, Apple)가 문장을 처리할 수 있습니다. KIIP Prep의 ‘말로 답하기’와 TOPIK Prep의 말하기 연습은 브라우저 내장 음성 인식을 쓰며, 브라우저에 따라 음성이 브라우저 회사의 음성 인식 서비스(크롬·엣지·삼성 인터넷은 Google, 사파리는 Apple)로 전송될 수 있고 해당 회사의 방침이 적용됩니다. 오별랩은 음성을 받거나 저장하지 않으며, 마이크는 이용자가 허락한 뒤 답하는 동안에만 쓰입니다.

2.5 결제

현재 KIIP Prep, TOPIK Prep, EPS-TOPIK Prep, 오별랩 도구, 오늘의 별 웹에는 결제가 없습니다. 유료 이용권을 도입하면 결제 대행사(예: 토스페이먼츠)의 결제창에서 결제가 이뤄지고 오별랩은 카드 번호를 받지 않으며, 도입 전에 이 방침을 고칩니다. 오늘의 별 모바일 앱의 구독은 Google Play가, K-Drama Dual Subs의 Pro 라이선스 구매는 Lemon Squeezy가 처리합니다.

3. 서비스별 처리 내용

3.1 KIIP Prep

로그인 없이 사용: 틀린 문제와 복습 일정, 최근 점수, 푼 문제, 화면 설정은 브라우저에만 저장됩니다.
Google 로그인(선택): Google에서 받는 Google 계정 ID, 이메일 주소, 이름, 프로필 사진 주소와 학습 기록(복습 일정·푼 문제·점수·즐겨찾기·연속 학습일 등)·설정을 기기 간 동기화를 위해 저장합니다. 로그인 유지를 위해 세션 쿠키 kiip_sid(HttpOnly, 최대 60일)를 씁니다.
저장한 면접·작문 답안: 로그인 상태에서 저장을 누른 경우 답안 글, 문항, 선택 자기 점수(0~5), 날짜를 저장하며 최신 500개까지만 보관합니다. 녹음 파일은 기기를 떠나지 않습니다.
익명 이용 통계: 페이지 방문, 모의고사 완료 같은 사건을 화면 언어와 함께 날짜별 합계(날짜·사건·언어·횟수)로만 집계합니다. 쿠키를 쓰지 않고 IP 주소·계정·식별자를 함께 저장하지 않으며, 방문은 브라우저에 저장한 날짜로 하루 한 번만 셉니다.
합격 후기·의견: 보낸 글, 선택 입력한 이름·시험 종류·점수, 언어, 로그인한 경우 계정 연결을 저장합니다. 후기는 이용자가 허용하고 검토를 마친 경우에만 사이트에 게시하며, 삭제를 원하면 메일로 요청할 수 있습니다.
계정 메뉴에서 로그아웃, 내 데이터 내려받기, 계정 삭제를 할 수 있습니다. 계정을 삭제하면 프로필·세션·동기화된 기록·답안이 데이터베이스에서 삭제되고, 같은 서버의 일일 백업에서도 최대 14일 뒤 자동으로 지워집니다.

3.2 TOPIK Prep

회원 가입이 없습니다. 답안, 복습할 문제, 모의고사 기록, 어휘 학습 기록, 설정(언어·속도), 무료 이용 횟수는 브라우저에만 저장되며 오별랩이 받지 않습니다. 마이크 기능은 없습니다.

3.3 EPS-TOPIK Prep (베타)

회원 가입·로그인·결제·광고가 없고 이름, 연락처, 여권·수험 번호를 받지 않습니다. 풀이 기록, 틀린 문제, 언어 설정은 브라우저에만 저장됩니다.

3.4 오별랩 도구 (계산기)

F-2-7 점수, 급여·퇴직금, 육아휴직 급여 계산은 모두 이용자의 브라우저 안에서 이뤄지며, 입력값을 서버로 보내거나 저장하지 않습니다. 다만 결과를 공유·북마크할 수 있도록 입력값이 페이지 주소(URL)의 물음표 뒤에 담깁니다. 이 주소를 다른 사람에게 보내면 입력값도 함께 전달되고, 이 주소로 페이지를 다시 열면 요청 주소가 2.1의 접속 기록에 남을 수 있으니 민감한 금액은 공유하지 마세요.

3.5 오늘의 별 (웹·모바일 앱)

3.6 옷콕

옷콕은 계정을 만들거나 이름·이메일·전화번호를 요구하지 않습니다. 현재 출시 준비 중이라 사진 검색이 잠겨 있으며, 검색이 열리면 다음과 같이 처리합니다.

이용자가 직접 고른 사진과 찾을 상품 종류는 HTTPS로 오별랩 서버에 전송되어 요청을 처리하는 동안 메모리에서만 쓰이고, 계정이나 데이터베이스에 저장하지 않습니다.
자체 상품 목록 검색(기본): 옷의 종류·색·형태를 분석하기 위해 사진이 OpenAI로 전송될 수 있습니다. 분석 결과로 만든 단어로 오별랩이 모은 상품 목록을 검색합니다.
외부 검색(선택): 이용자가 “사진 외부 전송 및 비용이 발생할 수 있는 검색에 동의합니다”에 체크한 경우에만 사진 또는 분석한 검색어가 OpenAI, Google Vision, SerpAPI, 보조 이미지 호스팅 imgbb로 전송될 수 있습니다. 결과가 부족하면 분석한 검색어(원본 사진 제외)를 OpenAI 웹 검색에 보낼 수 있습니다.
검색 결과의 상품 사진은 오별랩이 저장하지 않고 이용자 브라우저가 판매처 서버에서 직접 불러옵니다(리퍼러 미전송). 이때 판매처는 IP 주소·브라우저 정보 같은 접속 정보를 받을 수 있습니다.
얼굴, 신분증, 주소, 연락처 등 개인을 알아볼 수 있는 정보가 담긴 사진은 올리지 마세요. 외부 서비스의 보관 기간은 각 사업자의 방침을 따릅니다.

3.7 K-Drama Dual Subs (크롬 확장 프로그램)

계정, 분석 도구, 광고 코드, 원격 코드, 자체 서버가 없으며 개발자는 확장 프로그램에서 어떤 정보도 받지 않습니다. 화면 설정은 chrome.storage.sync(Chrome 동기화를 쓰면 Google이 이용자의 브라우저 사이에서 동기화), 저장한 단어(단어, 발음, 자막 문장, 영상 제목·ID·시간, 저장 날짜)는 chrome.storage.local에 저장됩니다. 자막은 시청 중인 동영상 사이트에서만 받아 오며, 단어 풀이의 사전 링크는 이용자가 누를 때만 해당 사전 사이트를 엽니다. 한국어 발음 표기는 기기 안에서 만들며 외부 발음 서비스로 보내지 않습니다.

Pro 라이선스 키를 직접 입력한 경우에만 키와 설치 구분 이름·ID를 결제 대행사 Lemon Squeezy(api.lemonsqueezy.com)에 보내 확인하며(활성화 때, 하루 한 번 정도, 키 삭제 때), 구매는 Lemon Squeezy 결제창에서 이뤄집니다(판매 대리인으로서 결제·청구 정보를 자체 방침에 따라 처리). 오별랩은 Lemon Squeezy 관리 화면에서 주문(결제 때 입력한 이메일 포함)을 라이선스 제공과 지원에만 씁니다. 3.8 리드하이브 (준비 중)

리드하이브는 아직 공개 서비스가 아닙니다. 출시하면 다음을 처리하며, 출시 전에 호스팅·결제 위탁사를 이 방침에 적어 고칩니다.

사업자 고객: 로그인 계정 정보(이메일 등), 사업자명·영업시간·팔로업 규칙 같은 작업공간 설정, 요금제·체험 상태.
사업자가 입력하거나 수집 API로 보낸 문의 고객 정보: 이름, 전화번호, 메모, 문의 내용·대화 기록, 예상 금액, 유입 경로. 이 정보의 개인정보처리자는 해당 사업자이며, 오별랩은 수탁자로서 사업자의 서비스 이용 목적 안에서만 처리합니다.
사업자가 정한 보관 기간(90일~3년, 기본 1년)이 지나면 문의 고객의 이름·연락처·메모·대화 기록을 비식별 처리하고 통계용 금액·유입 경로만 남깁니다. 사업자는 즉시 파기, 전체 데이터 내보내기, 작업공간 삭제를 할 수 있습니다.

4. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전

오별랩은 서비스 제공을 위해 아래 업체에 개인정보 처리를 맡기거나 전송하며, 일부는 국외로 이전됩니다. 국외 이전을 원하지 않으면 해당 기능(예: AI 운세, 사진 검색, Google 로그인)을 쓰지 않으면 되며, 이 경우 그 기능은 이용할 수 없습니다.

5. 보유 기간과 파기

브라우저·기기에 저장된 정보: 이용자가 브라우저 데이터 삭제, 앱 삭제, 확장 프로그램 삭제나 각 서비스의 삭제 기능으로 지울 때까지.
KIIP Prep 계정 정보·동기화 기록·답안: 계정 삭제 시까지(삭제 후 일일 백업에서 최대 14일). 답안은 최신 500개까지.
오늘의 별 이용 횟수: 해당 날짜가 지나면 삭제. 구독 정보: 구독 종료 후 1년(환불·분쟁 대응) 뒤 삭제.
옷콕 사진: 저장하지 않음(요청 처리 중 메모리에서만 사용).
리드하이브 문의 고객 정보: 사업자가 정한 보관 기간(기본 1년)이 지나면 비식별 처리.
접속 기록: 보안·장애 대응에 필요한 짧은 기간.
법령에 따라 보관해야 하는 정보는 그 기간 동안 보관합니다. 기간이 끝난 전자 파일은 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 삭제합니다.

6. 이용자의 권리와 행사 방법

이용자는 언제든지 자신의 개인정보 열람·정정·삭제·처리 정지를 요구할 수 있습니다. 브라우저·기기에 저장된 정보는 직접 지울 수 있고, KIIP Prep 계정은 계정 메뉴에서 데이터 내려받기와 계정 삭제를 할 수 있습니다. 서버에 있는 그 밖의 정보는 아래 메일로 요청하면 지체 없이 처리합니다. 오늘의 별 앱 구독 해지는 Google Play 스토어의 [결제 및 정기 결제]에서 할 수 있습니다. 리드하이브 문의 고객의 요청은 먼저 해당 사업자에게 하시면 되고, 오별랩으로 온 요청은 사업자에게 전달해 함께 처리합니다.

7. 쿠키

오별랩이 직접 쓰는 쿠키는 KIIP Prep 로그인 유지용 kiip_sid 하나입니다. 광고가 나오는 페이지에서는 Google과 광고 파트너가 쿠키를 쓸 수 있습니다(2.3). 브라우저 설정에서 쿠키를 차단·삭제할 수 있으며, 이 경우 KIIP Prep 로그인 유지는 동작하지 않지만 다른 기능은 그대로 쓸 수 있습니다.

8. 만 14세 미만 아동

오별랩은 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다. 오늘의 별은 만 14세 이상을 대상으로 하며, 만 14세 미만은 로그인이나 계정이 필요한 기능을 쓰지 말아 주세요. 만 14세 미만 아동의 정보가 수집된 사실을 알게 되면 지체 없이 삭제합니다.

9. 안전성 확보 조치

모든 통신은 HTTPS로 암호화합니다. AI·결제 서비스 이용 키는 서버에만 보관하고 앱이나 웹페이지에 넣지 않습니다. 데이터베이스는 인터넷에서 직접 접근할 수 없는 내부망에 두고, 서버 접근은 관리자에게만 허용합니다.

11. 방침 변경

이 방침을 바꾸면 시행 7일 전부터 이 페이지에 알립니다. 새 기능 때문에 처리하는 정보가 늘어나는 경우에는 그 기능을 열기 전에 고칩니다.

Summary — Our study services (KIIP Prep, TOPIK Prep, EPS-TOPIK Prep) and OByeolLab Tools work without an account; your progress and inputs stay in your browser by default. Features that need an account (optional Google sign-in on KIIP Prep, Oneul) process only what they need. Some pages show Google AdSense ads, and Google may use cookies; there are never ads on question screens. We do not sell personal data.

2. Common to all services

Server logs. Traffic passes through Cloudflare to servers we operate in the Republic of Korea. Standard access data (IP address, time, requested URL, browser details) may be processed briefly to deliver the service and protect it. It is not used to profile you and is not shared.

Browser storage. Progress, mistakes, settings and free-usage counts are kept in your browser’s local storage and are not sent to us unless stated below. Clearing the site’s data deletes them.

Advertising (Google AdSense). The company page, parts of KIIP Prep and TOPIK Prep and the Oneul website may show AdSense ads; never on question or test screens. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and, if you allow it, show ads based on your visits to this and other sites (pages visited, ad interactions, IP address, browser details). We do not give Google your account data or study results. How Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Turn off personalised ads at My Ad Center or aboutads.info; you can also block cookies. Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s consent message and can change their choice later.

Browser speech. Listening items in TOPIK Prep and KIIP Prep play pre-recorded audio files generated with a licensed text-to-speech service (Typecast) wherever a recording exists; the files are hosted on our own server, and no data about you is sent to Typecast at playback. Items without a recording, and EPS-TOPIK Prep (currently device speech only), use your device’s built-in speech synthesis, which, depending on the browser or operating system, the maker (e.g. Google, Microsoft, Apple) may process. KIIP Prep’s “Answer by voice” and TOPIK Prep’s speaking practice use your browser’s speech recognition; depending on the browser, the browser maker may process the audio under its own policy. We never receive or store audio; the microphone is used only while you answer, after you allow it.

Payments. KIIP Prep, TOPIK Prep, EPS-TOPIK Prep, OByeolLab Tools and the Oneul website take no payments today. If paid passes are introduced, payment happens on the payment provider’s checkout page (for example Toss Payments), we never see card numbers, and this policy will be updated first. Oneul app subscriptions are handled by Google Play; K-Drama Dual Subs Pro purchases by Lemon Squeezy.

3. Service by service

KIIP Prep. Without sign-in, data stays in your browser. With optional Google sign-in we store your Google account ID, email, name and profile picture URL plus your study data and settings to sync devices; a session cookie kiip_sid (HttpOnly, up to 60 days) keeps you signed in. Saved interview and writing answers (text, prompt, optional self-score, date; newest 500) are stored only if you save them while signed in; recordings never leave your device. Anonymous statistics are kept only as daily totals (date, event, language, count) with no cookies, IP address or identifier. Pass stories and feedback store your message, optional name, test type and score, language and, if signed in, a link to your account; stories are published only with your permission after review. You can download your data and delete your account from the account menu; backups are removed within 14 days.

TOPIK Prep. No account. Answers, review lists, mock-test history, vocabulary progress, settings and usage counts stay in your browser. No microphone features.

EPS-TOPIK Prep (beta). No sign-up, login, payment or ads; we do not ask for your name, contact details, passport or application number. Progress stays in your browser.

OByeolLab Tools. Calculations run in your browser; inputs are not sent to or stored on our server. To make results shareable, inputs are placed in the page address (after “?”). Anyone you send that link to sees the inputs, and reopening it can leave the address in the access logs described above, so avoid sharing sensitive amounts.

Oneul (오늘의 별). Name (optional Chinese-character name), birth date and time, gender and calendar type — and partner details you enter for compatibility readings — are stored on your device or in your browser. Saju readings are calculated on the device; only when you request an AI fortune are these details relayed through our server to OpenAI, without being stored on our server. We also process a Firebase anonymous ID (sign-in, daily limits, subscription checks), Kakao member number and nickname if you choose Kakao login in the app (kept on the device), a push token (Firebase), daily usage and per-IP request counts (deleted after the day), and Google Play subscription data (kept 1 year after the subscription ends). AI fortunes are not open yet. The app shows no ads. For ages 14 and over. Terms: oneul.obyeollab.com/terms.html.

OtKok (옷콕). No account. Photo search is locked until launch. When open: the photo you choose is sent over HTTPS to our server and used only in memory, never stored. Catalog search (default) may send the photo to OpenAI to recognise the item, then matches the result against our product list. External search runs only if you tick the consent box; then the photo or derived search words may go to OpenAI, Google Vision, SerpAPI and the image host imgbb, and derived words (not the photo) to OpenAI web search. Product photos in results load directly from the seller’s server (no referrer), so the seller may receive your IP address and browser details. Please do not upload photos showing faces, IDs, addresses or contact details.

K-Drama Dual Subs. No accounts, analytics, ads, remote code or servers of our own; we receive nothing from the extension. Settings are in chrome.storage.sync and saved words (word, pronunciation, subtitle sentence, video title, ID and time, date) in chrome.storage.local. Subtitles are requested only from the video site you are watching; pronunciation is generated on the device. Only if you enter a Pro license key, the key and an instance name/ID are sent to Lemon Squeezy to verify it (on activation, about daily, and on removal); Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for purchases. Use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Full policy: K-Drama Dual Subs Privacy Policy.

LeadHive (in development). Not public yet; this section will name hosting and payment providers before launch. It will process business users’ account data and workspace settings, and the enquiry data businesses enter or send (customer names, phone numbers, notes, messages, estimated value, source). For that customer data the business is the controller and OByeolLab processes it on the business’s behalf. After the business’s retention period (90 days to 3 years, default 1 year) names, phone numbers, notes and messages are de-identified; businesses can purge, export everything or delete the workspace.

4. Processors and international transfers

Cloudflare (all web services, US and elsewhere), Google AdSense and partners (ads), Google sign-in (KIIP Prep), Google Firebase and Google Play (Oneul), OpenAI (Oneul AI fortunes; OtKok photo analysis and web search — kept up to 30 days for abuse monitoring under OpenAI’s policy, not used for training by default), Google Cloud Vision, SerpApi and imgbb (OtKok external search, only with consent), Kakao (Oneul app login, Korea) and Lemon Squeezy (K-Drama Dual Subs Pro, US). If you do not want a transfer, do not use the related feature.

5. Retention

Browser and device data: until you delete it. KIIP Prep account data: until you delete your account (backups up to 14 more days); answers limited to the newest 500. Oneul usage counts: deleted after the day; subscription data: 1 year after the subscription ends. OtKok photos: not stored. LeadHive enquiry data: de-identified after the business’s retention period. Access logs: a short period for security. Data that the law requires us to keep is kept for that period.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or stop processing of your personal data at any time. Delete browser data yourself; KIIP Prep users can export data and delete the account in the account menu; email us for anything else and we will act without delay. Cancel Oneul app subscriptions in Google Play. LeadHive end-customers should contact the business first; requests sent to us are passed to that business.

7. Cookies, children, security

The only cookie we set is kiip_sid for KIIP Prep sign-in; Google and its partners may set advertising cookies on pages with ads. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14; Oneul is for ages 14 and over. All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, service keys stay on the server, databases sit on an internal network not reachable from the internet, and server access is limited to the administrator.
