What this tool is
A Korean job interview usually follows a familiar order: a self-introduction, why you applied, your Korean level, your visa and how long you may stay, the hours you can work, strengths and weaknesses, experience, expected pay, teamwork, overtime and weekend work, and where you see yourself in five years. Foreign applicants have to answer in Korean on the spot, and they also face questions that Korean applicants rarely get, such as visa status and why they came to Korea, so it is easy to freeze unless the sentences are prepared in advance. This question bank collects 40 questions that foreign applicants meet most often. Each question comes with the Korean original, a romanization, translations in 16 languages, two or three answer templates in polite Korean, and a short note on what interviewers listen for.
How to use it
- On the Practice tab, get a random question and answer it aloud before opening the model answer. You can listen to the question and the answers with your device’s speech feature to copy the pronunciation and speed.
- Open the model answers, compare them with your own, then press Hard, So-so or Confident. Questions marked Hard come up more often.
- On the Build my answers tab, fill in the blanks such as name, company, job, experience, visa status and desired salary. If you already used the résumé builder, import those details; particles such as 은/는, 을/를 and 으로/로 change automatically to match the final sound.
- Choose up to 10 questions for the sheet, pick a template for each and rewrite it with your own experience. Then print it on one A4 page or save it as a PDF to skim just before the interview.
Basis and limits
The answer sentences were written by OByeolLab and no AI is used. The visa guidance follows Article 18 of the Immigration Act (restriction on employing foreigners) and HiKorea, and the guidance on working hours, allowances and minimum wage follows the Labor Standards Act and Ministry of Employment and Labor information; the 2026 minimum wage is 10,320 won per hour. What you may do and for how many hours differs by status and rules change often, so confirm it yourself on HiKorea or with the Immigration Contact Center (1345). The translations of the questions into the 14 languages other than Korean and English, and the interface text in those languages, are AI drafts that have not yet been checked by native speakers. Interviewers quickly notice memorized model answers, so rewrite them to fit your own experience and never claim experience or qualifications you do not have.
